A man in his 60s has been arrested after allegedly firing up to 100 rounds on a crowded street in Sydney, injuring 20 people, one of them critically.
Police ruled out terrorism or gang-related motives on Monday.
Witnesses say the suspect fired indiscriminately at passing vehicles and police officers.
He was taken to a hospital for injuries sustained during the arrest.
