President Donald Trump said Sunday that negotiations with Hamas aimed at ending Israel’s war in Gaza and securing the release of hostages are moving forward quickly.
“These talks have been very successful and are progressing rapidly,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. He added that technical teams are scheduled to meet again Monday in Egypt to finalize remaining details.
Trump also stated he was informed that the first phase should be completed this week, urging swift action.
“Time is critical to avoid a bloodbath,” he wrote.
