The UN General Assembly has overwhelmingly adopted a resolution calling for an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
The vote on Wednesday was a symbolic act in the General Assembly in New York after the United States blocked a similar resolution in the UN Security Council.
Meanwhile, at least seven Palestinians have been killed in an Israeli attack on a group of Palestinians working to secure trucks carrying emergency aid in Rafah, health workers told Reuters.
