FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Employees in Cyprus earned approximately 5.4% more in gross monthly wages during the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year, according to preliminary data released Wednesday by the Statistical Service.
Average gross monthly earnings are estimated at around €2,500, up from €2,382 in the first quarter of 2024.
The figures reflect continued wage growth across sectors, though analysts note that inflation and cost-of-living increases may offset real income gains.
