FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Beginning July 31, the Health Insurance Organization of Cyprus will extend the validity period of short-term referrals to medical specialists from six to twelve months, the agency announced Wednesday.
The number of allowable visits per referral will remain unchanged at two.
The updated policy applies exclusively to referrals issued on or after July 31. Referrals granted prior to that date will follow existing regulations.
