FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Azerbaijan, Georgia, Türkiye, and Bulgaria signed a Memorandum of Understanding Friday to establish a Green Energy Corridor, aimed at strengthening regional electricity transmission and trade.
The agreement, finalized during the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and Green Energy Advisory Council Ministerial Meetings in Baku, includes plans for joint investment, infrastructure development, and integration with the European electricity network.
The corridor will support renewable energy transmission, enhancing energy security and regional cooperation.
It highlights the need for regulatory alignment and market synchronization to ensure seamless operations.
