British visitors remained the largest tourism market in Cyprus

NICOSIA, Cyprus — Tourism revenue in Cyprus increased by 17.4% year-on-year during the January–July period of 2025, according to data released by the Statistical Service.

Average per capita spending by tourists in July reached approximately €870, marking a €10 increase compared to July 2024 — a rise of 1.3%.

British visitors remained the largest tourism market, accounting for 32.2% of all arrivals in July.

They spent an average of €100 per day. Israeli tourists, the second-largest group at 13% of total arrivals, spent more than €150 daily on average.

Polish tourists represented the third-largest market for the month.
