LIMASSOL, Cyprus — A 26-year-old woman has been remanded in custody for eight days by the Limassol District Court in connection with the suspected premeditated murder of a 31-year-old man from the Philippines.
The victim was found injured outside the apartment building where he lived on Sunday afternoon. Initially treated as an accident, the case shifted direction following forensic findings by medical examiners during the autopsy.
The cause of death was determined to be hemorrhagic shock, with penetrating wounds discovered in the abdominal area.
The suspect reportedly denies involvement, maintaining that after a dispute, the man attempted to enter the apartment via the balcony and fell. Police investigations are ongoing.
