Cristiano Ronaldo has finally put a ring on it—literally!
The football megastar is officially engaged to his long-time partner Georgina Rodríguez, sending fans into a frenzy after she shared the dazzling news on Instagram.
The 31-year-old Spanish model posted a romantic snap of her hand resting on Ronaldo’s, flaunting a colossal diamond ring that could rival royalty.
Captioning the photo in her native Spanish, she wrote: “Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas”—which translates to “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.”
A ring fit for a queen
Jewellery experts estimate the oval-cut sparkler to be between 25 and 30 carats, flanked by two smaller diamonds and set in platinum or white gold.
Depending on its clarity and colour, the ring could be worth anywhere from $1.5 million to a staggering $5 million.
From Gucci to global stardom
The couple’s love story began in 2016 when Ronaldo walked into a Gucci store in Madrid where Georgina was working as a shop assistant. Sparks flew instantly, and the pair went public the following year at the Best FIFA Football Awards.
Since then, they’ve built a life together across Spain, Italy, England, and now Saudi Arabia, where Ronaldo plays for Al-Nassr.
They share two daughters—Alana, 7, and Bella, 3—and have raised Ronaldo’s three other children together. Tragically, Bella’s twin brother Ángel died during childbirth in 2022.
Netflix and nuptials?
Fans of the couple will remember their romantic journey chronicled in Georgina’s Netflix series I Am Georgina, where Ronaldo hinted at a proposal. “It could be in a year, or six months, or a month,” he said. “I’m 1,000 percent sure it will happen.” And now, it has.
