FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Cypriot police arrested a 42-year-old driver after stopping a suspicious truck that had crossed into the Republic of Cyprus from the buffer zone, Alithia reports.
Authorities halted the vehicle shortly after midnight in Nicosia, discovering eight sheep inside.
The border protection unit had been monitoring the truck’s movements before intervening.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
