The usually serene roads of Karpaz will roar with the sounds of powerful engines as motorcycle groups from across north come together for a heartfelt cause this morning.
At 11:00, motorcycle enthusiasts will gather at the Ziyamet junction for an event organized by the Cerberus Club and Cyprus Bikers Group.
In a statement to the press, Umut Sağ, speaking on behalf of the Cyprus Bikers Group, invited all motorcycle enthusiasts to join the ride.
The event was initiated by the Cerberus Club President, Hakki Elvin, in response to the recent distressing massacre of donkeys in Dipkarpaz, a natural habitat for these animals. The organizers aim to demonstrate that bikers are also avid animal lovers.
‘Everyone knows that the massacre of donkeys living in their natural habitat in Dipkarpaz saddened us all,’ Elvin said.
Participants can look forward to enjoying local delicacies at the destination, with options to taste traditional food or explore other local restaurants. After the event, bikers are free to return at their own pace.
