Cyprus: Burned Dog Found Dead in Tersefanou; Police Investigate Possible Animal Abuse

FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Police discovered a dead dog bearing visible burn marks in the village of Tersefanou on Friday morning, according to a statement from the Kiti Police Station.

Officers were dispatched to the scene around 11:30 a.m., where they found the dog’s charred remains.

Authorities also noted a patch of scorched dry vegetation roughly ten meters away.

The animal was transported to the Veterinary Services for an official necropsy, which is expected in the coming days.
