Cyprus Health Minister Neophytos Charalambides praised the role of innovation in strengthening the country’s health‑care system during the opening of the “Medical & Health Expo 2026,” held Friday under the ministry’s auspices.
The event, organized by Arvani Exhibitions, is the second nationwide conference and exhibition bringing together professionals from the medical, paramedical and pharmaceutical sectors. Officials said the expo aims to promote information‑sharing, collaboration and advances in health‑care practice.
In his remarks, Charalambides said the program of talks and presentations offers participants the chance to learn about new technologies, innovative products and emerging methods that can improve prevention, diagnosis and patient care.
He added that the Health Ministry consistently supports initiatives that advance scientific knowledge, cooperation and innovation, noting that such efforts contribute meaningfully to the quality of health services provided in Cyprus.
The minister thanked the organizers and wished them success with this year’s exhibition.
