Cyprus’ Health Minister Neofytos Charalambides has set out the five pillars guiding the ministry’s policies, during a presentation of its annual review and goals for the year.
He said the pillars are: prevention and public health, stronger legislation and transparency, digital health, modern infrastructure, and a robust and sustainable national health system, Gesy.
Charalambides said the aim is a strategic shift toward a system that does not focus only on treatment, but invests in prevention, early diagnosis and improving citizens’ quality of life.
