Cyprus Health Minister visited Famagusta General Hospital this week, saying the trip offered a direct look at the daily pressures facing medical, nursing and administrative staff.
In a statement after the visit, he expressed “sincere appreciation” for the work carried out by hospital personnel, noting their professionalism and commitment to patient care.
Staff in the public health system, he said, “form the core of the effort to provide quality health services to citizens.”
The minister said the government remains committed to strengthening and upgrading public hospitals through proper planning, better use of resources and improvements to infrastructure and services.
The goal, he added, is a modern and efficient health system capable of meeting patient needs and delivering timely, high‑quality care.
