FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – A Syrian man living permanently in Cyprus reported being assaulted while asleep in his home in Yeroshibu, Paphos.
The attack, involving two masked individuals, occurred during the early hours of April 22, according to the Alithia newspaper.
The 40-year-old victim told authorities that one assailant struck him on the head with a wooden stick, while another attempted to stab him.
Both attackers fled the scene, and police have launched an investigation into the incident.
