FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE— A 53-year-old foreign national is expected to appear before the Paphos District Court on Monday in connection with the fatal stabbing of his 34-year-old partner, police said.
The incident occurred at the couple’s residence in Chloraka.
Authorities said the suspect also injured the woman’s 14-year-old son, who reportedly tried to intervene during the attack.
Following the stabbing, the suspect allegedly attempted to take his own life.
Due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating the case as murder and attempted murder.
