In her speech, she said Nicosia, the third city in Europe to host a Europa Nostra Heritage Hub, enhances Cyprus’ relationship with the organization dedicated to cultural heritage preservation. The hub’s founding partners, including the University of Cyprus, the Cyprus Institute, and the A.G. She highlighted the efforts of the Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage, which works to restore significant monuments and promote reconciliation between Greek and Turkish Cypriots.

The Deputy Ministry of Culture focuses on preserving Cyprus’ cultural heritage and promoting modern and contemporary culture. The ministry’s strategic goals align with the hub’s establishment, leveraging Cyprus’ location to build international partnerships and strengthen cultural diplomacy.
