FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE — The Cyprus Parliament recently approved amendments to the law governing hunting dog training areas, aiming to streamline the licensing process.
Under the revised law, training within designated areas will no longer require a certified animal trainer.
Additionally, the law mandates that facility operators ensure all dogs entering training areas are properly tagged, with their identification numbers recorded on their owners’ hunting licenses.
The amendments also introduce the terms “training” and “hunting dog training area” to clarify that these spaces are intended for dog exercise under the supervision of owners or handlers.
