FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – The Cyprus Police have announced an extension for paying extrajudicial fines related to traffic violations recorded by roadside cameras.
Initially set for January 8 to March 31, 2025, the deadline has been pushed to April 30, 2025, due to high public demand and the Easter holidays.
Vehicle owners are advised to check for outstanding fines via CyCameraSystem.com.cy by registering their vehicle details. Payments can be made directly through the Police website, while inquiries are handled via the hotline at 80008009 during business hours.
If the registered owner was not driving at the time of the violation, they must identify the driver electronically on the platform. Failure to provide this information may result in legal consequences under traffic law.
The extension only applies to violations recorded between January 1, 2022, and September 30, 2024, excluding cases already submitted to the courts.
