The Cyprus Police Cybercrime Unit is joining the Pedagogical Institute and other agencies in hosting a Safer Internet Day workshop for students on Feb. 11.
The event will take place at the Ktima Kousioumi venue in the Chalepianes area of Nicosia from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with registration between 8:30 and 9:00.
The workshop is aimed at pupils in the final two years of primary school, all three years of lower secondary school, and the first two years of upper secondary and technical schools, both public and private.
Teachers and policy‑makers are also invited.
Organizers said the goal is to promote responsibility, respect and ethical behaviour online, while raising awareness about safe and creative internet use.
Authorities stressed that protecting children in the digital environment remains a priority.
