Limassol police are investigating a complaint of kidnapping involving a 16-year-old boy.
The incident was reported just before midnight by the boy and his mother.
According to the boy’s statement, he was outside a kiosk around 10:30 p.m. when he was approached by individuals in two vehicles.
The men abducted him, drove him to another location, and stole his bag, which contained his mobile phone. One of the perpetrators also assaulted him.
Police are currently investigating charges of kidnapping, robbery, and assault.
