FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – President Nikos Christodoulides has reaffirmed that the Greece-Cyprus electricity interconnection project remains on track despite statements from Turkish officials and reports in the Turkish press.
“Turkey can say whatever it wants, we are doing our job,” Christodoulides said, emphasizing that the company overseeing the project continues its investigations into laying the cable as planned.
Christodoulides also addressed reports in Milliyet about Turkey’s maritime spatial planning, stating that Turkish media often presents developments in a way that aligns with Ankara’s interests.
