FAMAGUSTA GAZETTTE – More than 160 swimmers from across Europe will compete in a major open-water swimming event in Protaras this weekend at Fig Tree Bay beach.
The European Aquatics Open Water Cup Leg 1 is set for Saturday, May 3, followed by the Protaras International Open Water Marathon on Sunday, May 4.
Athletes from 16 countries, including Hungary, Poland, Israel, Monaco, France, Croatia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, and Cyprus, will compete in the 10-kilometer race.
