FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Workers in Cyprus put in some of the longest hours in the European Union, according to new data from Eurostat.
Local media, including Politis, reported that 10% of Cypriot employees aged 20 to 64 work more than 46 hours per week.
That figure places Cyprus second among EU member states.
Greece topped the list, with 12.4% of its workforce logging similarly long hours.
