Cyprus saw a 9.8% increase in road fatalities in 2025, according to new data from the European Transport Safety Council.
The country ranked 16th in the EU for road deaths per capita.
Across the EU27, the ETSC estimated that about 19,500 people were killed in road crashes in 2025 and more than 100,000 were seriously injured.
