FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Cyprus will host its inaugural Coastal Regatta on May 1, 2025, marking a new chapter in Mediterranean yacht racing.
The event will feature a long-distance race, starting at Limassol Marina and finishing at Ayia Napa Marina, aimed at bringing together the island’s yachting community and promoting Cyprus as a top sailing destination.
Designed to strengthen local sailing, the regatta sets the stage for an international event in the coming years, with plans to expand the race from Latchi to Paralimni.
Sponsored by Alphamega and supported by Costas Damianou Raymarine and COMAR, the regatta is expected to become an annual tradition.
