Tourism revenue in Cyprus rose 11.3 percent in December 2025, reaching €96.7 million compared with €86.9 million in the same month a year earlier, the Statistical Service has said.

For the full year, revenue climbed to €3.7 billion, up 15.2 percent from €3.21 billion in 2024, according to results from the Traveler Survey.

Per‑capita spending in December fell 5.7 percent to €616.29 from €653.27 a year earlier. Israeli visitors — the island’s largest market for the month, accounting for 19.1 percent of arrivals — spent an average of €145.03 per day. British tourists, the second‑largest group at 19 percent, spent €65.39 per day. Visitors from Poland, the third‑largest market at 11.3 percent, spent €85.69 per day.

The survey is conducted at the departure halls of Larnaca and Paphos airports using electronic interviews. The figures cover only the areas controlled by the Republic of Cyprus and exclude travelers entering or leaving through ports and airports in the island’s occupied north.
