FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – A 34-year-old woman was fatally stabbed and a 14-year-old boy injured in a suspected premeditated attack Sunday evening in Chloraka, according to police.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. inside a local apartment. Preliminary investigations suggest a 53-year-old man stabbed his partner, resulting in her death, and wounded the teenager.
The suspect reportedly inflicted injuries on himself following the attack and was taken to Paphos General Hospital. The teen was also hospitalized for treatment.
Two ambulances responded to the scene, which has since been cordoned off. Members of the Paphos Criminal Investigation Department are conducting inquiries, and forensic experts and medical examiners are expected to arrive to assist with the investigation.
