Hail is possible in any storm. Winds will start from the southeast to southwest, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, then shift by midday to southwest to northwest, moderate and at times strong at 4 to 5 Beaufort. Seas will be slight. Temperatures will reach 29 C inland, 25 C in the southeast, east and north coasts, 23 C on the west and southwest coasts, and 16 C in the higher mountains.
Tonight, periods of low cloud are expected, with light fog or fog forming later and toward dawn, especially inland and in the east. Winds will blow southwest to northwest at first, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, then become variable and light at 2 to 3 Beaufort. Temperatures will fall to 14 C inland, 16 C on the coasts and 8 C in the higher mountains.
Saturday will be mostly cloudy with isolated showers early along the coast. By midday and later, local showers and thunderstorms are expected, especially in the mountains and the eastern half of the island. Some storms may be strong and hail is likely.
Sunday and Monday will bring periods of cloud. Isolated showers are possible in the morning, mainly near the coast. Temperatures will drop on Saturday, especially inland and in the mountains. Through Monday they will remain below seasonal averages.
