Sunday’s forecast calls for mostly clear skies across Cyprus. Winds will blow predominantly from the north to northeast, shifting to northwest in western areas later in the day. Wind speeds are expected to range from light to moderate, at 3 to 4 Beaufort, with localized areas reaching moderate to strong levels, at 4 to 5 Beaufort. Seas will be slightly choppy, with rougher conditions expected in eastern and northern coastal areas during the morning hours. Temperatures will rise to around 32°C inland and along the coasts, and approximately 23°C in higher mountainous regions.
Tonight, conditions will remain mostly clear. Winds will shift to northwesterly to northeasterly, remaining light and occasionally moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Seas will stay slightly choppy. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to around 21°C inland and along the coasts, and near 14°C in the mountains.
The weather is expected to stay mostly clear through Wednesday. However, increased cloud cover is likely in some areas by Wednesday afternoon.
Temperatures will gradually rise through Tuesday, exceeding seasonal averages. No significant change is expected on Wednesday.
