Cyprus’s Foreign Ministry has welcomed a decision by the United States government to renew the waiver of defence-related restrictions concerning the Republic of Cyprus for the 2027 fiscal year.
According to the ministry, the decision permits the export, re-export and transfer of defence articles and defence services from the United States to Cyprus for the specified period.
The move, the statement added, reflects recognition of the two countries’ continually deepening strategic partnership.
