A 74‑year‑old woman reported missing from her home in Deneia was found safe late Sunday night after an extensive search, police said.
Her details and photograph had been released earlier in the day as part of a public appeal. She was located shortly before 11 p.m. in an area between Deneia and Akaki, roughly three kilometers from her residence.
The search involved police officers, Civil Defence personnel, a volunteer team with a tracking dog and local residents.
Police thanked those who assisted and reminded the public that further circulation of the woman’s photograph is no longer permitted under personal‑data rules.
