A low‑pressure system over the Black Sea is moving northeast and will briefly affect the region Wednesday, with dense dust in the atmosphere expected until midday.
Skies will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers, isolated thunderstorms and snow over the highest peaks.
Conditions will ease later in the afternoon.
Winds will blow mainly from the southwest to west, strong to very strong at 5–6 Beaufort, and locally near‑gale at 6–7 Beaufort, with gusts that may reach force 9 or 10. Seas will be very rough, and locally near the windward coasts, high to very high.
Temperatures will rise to around 18°C inland and along the coast, and 6°C in the higher mountains.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with isolated showers, mainly in the west.
Snow or sleet may fall over the highest elevations. Winds will shift southwest to northwest at 4–5 Beaufort, and up to 6 Beaufort along some coasts. Seas will remain very rough, though conditions in the south and east will gradually improve to rough.
Temperatures will drop to 9°C inland, around 13°C on the west and north coasts, 11°C elsewhere, and 4°C in the higher mountains, where patchy frost is possible.
Cloud cover will increase at times Thursday through Saturday. Temperatures will rise gradually through Saturday, climbing above seasonal averages.
