A 6.3 magnitude earthquake has been measured off the coast of El Salvador.
The earthquake has been felt in many residential areas, but there is no risk of a tsunami, El Salvador’s Ministry of Environment reports on the messaging service X.
The European Mediterranean Seismological Center said the earthquake had a magnitude of 6.1 and estimated that it occurred at a depth of approximately 87 kilometers.
