An 87‑year‑old man has died from injuries sustained in a traffic accident last Wednesday on Griva Digeni Avenue in Kokkinotrimithia, police said.
The victim, Eleftherios Koumoulis, formerly of Mammari, died after four days in hospital.
Police said the crash occurred under circumstances still under investigation, when the man lost control of his vehicle and collided with a truck driven by a 35‑year‑old.
Koumoulis was seriously injured in the collision and had been in critical condition in the intensive care unit at Nicosia General Hospital.
