FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed outrage on Friday following an Israeli airstrike in Khan Younis that reportedly killed ten members of the same family, including children.
The attack is part of a series of Israeli strikes on Gaza that have claimed hundreds of lives in recent weeks.
Israel resumed its military operations in Gaza on March 18, ending a ceasefire with Hamas.
The renewed hostilities have been accompanied by a blockade on food and aid deliveries, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
Erdogan denounced the airstrike as “barbarism” and called for international action to address the escalating violence.
