The European Commission has formally approved Kisunla, a new Alzheimer’s treatment developed by Eli Lilly, for sale across the European market.
The decision follows a July recommendation from the European Medicines Agency.
Kisunla is the second drug of its kind to receive EU authorization and contains an antibody shown to slow disease progression in patients at an early stage of Alzheimer’s.
