The golden girl of Cyprus, Karolina Pelendritou, with a time of 29.82, won the silver medal in the final of the 50 meter freestyle swimming event at the Paralympic Games in Paris.
It was Carolina’s seventh Paralympic medal overall.
The gold medal was won by the Chinese swimmer Ma.
