Cyprus Police Warn of Phone Scam Targeting Revolut Customers

Police have issued a fresh warning to the public after receiving reports of phone scams in which callers pose as representatives of the online banking platform Revolut.

According to the complaints, the callers claim that someone is attempting to steal money from the victim’s account and then ask for login credentials “to protect them.”

Anyone who provides these details risks having the funds in their accounts stolen.

Police urged the public not to respond to such calls and to never disclose banking passwords or access codes.

Anyone who has already shared information is advised to contact their bank immediately to prevent unauthorised transactions.
