Fuel prices in Cyprus are expected to fall

Fuel prices in Cyprus are expected to fall over the next 10 days, driven by the recent drop in international oil prices, according to Savvas Prokopiou, president of the Cyprus Petrol Station Owners Association.

Prokopiou said prices have been fluctuating in recent weeks.

He noted that there was “a sharp decrease in the international price of oil, around 10 to 15 dollars,” but added that such reductions typically reach Cyprus with a delay of 10 to 15 days — the same lag seen when prices rise.

Prokopiou cautioned, however, that “there are still unpredictable factors” that could affect the outlook.
