FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – High levels of dust in the atmosphere are prompting health warnings, the Department of Labor Inspection said Thursday.
The department urged the public, especially vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, and those with health conditions, to avoid outdoor activities until the dust clears.
The dust contains small particles that can harm human health.
Businesses with employees working outdoors must take measures to protect their health, the department added.
