The three Israeli hostages released by Hamas on Saturday, Or Levy, Eli Sharabi and Ohad Ben Ami, are in poor medical condition, hospital sources said.
Levy and Sharabi have been admitted to the Israeli Sheba Hospital.
“The consequences of 491 long days in captivity are evident on the two who returned today, and their medical condition is poor. This is the fourth time in a row that we have received returnees, and the situation is more serious this time,” says hospital director Yael Frenkel Nir about their condition.
Ben Ami, for his part, is in a “serious nutritional condition” and has lost a lot of weight, according to the Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.
The photos of the released prisoners showed that they were thin and weakened.
