FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – The Ministry of Transport said the operation is being carried out in close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and emphasized that stricter security protocols have been implemented at all airports.
Cyprus’s airspace is currently handling an additional 500 flights per day as a result of the regional crisis. Air traffic control personnel are reportedly working under increased pressure to manage the higher volumes safely and efficiently.
Authorities assured the traveling public that despite the elevated flow of passengers and aircraft, flight operations remain smooth and uninterrupted.
