FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – An informal summit on the Cyprus issue is expected to take place in New York between July 16 and 18, according to officials familiar with the planning.
Meanwhile, Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides is scheduled to chair a meeting of the National Council on Thursday at 10 a.m.
The meeting is expected to focus on his upcoming talks with María Ángela Holguín, the personal envoy of the United Nations secretary-general, and the recent visit to Cyprus by EU Special Representative for the Cyprus issue, Johannes Hahn.
