FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Cyprus immigration authorities carried out a large-scale operation targeting individuals residing illegally in the country, officials said last night.
A total of 24 nationals from third countries were arrested for staying in Cyprus without legal status. Authorities added that since the beginning of the year, more than 6,000 people have been repatriated after being found to be living unlawfully on the island.
