A 58-year-old Iranian woman was killed by her former husband in Cyprus, with an autopsy confirming multiple blows to the head with a metal rod.
According to Fileleftheros newspaper, the suspect voluntarily confessed to the killing during police questioning. The victim had separated from her husband but reportedly continued to live with him intermittently.
The murder, described by local media as “shocking,” is said to have occurred in front of the couple’s daughter.
Authorities are continuing their investigation.
