FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – The Maltese government unveiled over €2 million in grants to promote energy and water efficiency in households.
The initiative, announced during a media briefing by the energy ministry and the regulator for energy and water services, aims to encourage sustainable living and reduce costs for families.
Environment and Energy Minister Miriam Dalli emphasized the importance of these grants in achieving Malta’s environmental goals.
“We are committed to supporting families in making sustainable choices that are both environmentally and economically sound,” Dalli stated.
Among the highlighted grants is one for photovoltaic (PV) panels connected to water heating systems, covering up to 50 percent of eligible costs.
The program also supports investments in other energy-efficient solutions and water-saving technologies.
