Reports in the local media suggest that 14.3 percent of companies in Cyprus have been victims of cyber-attacks.
Fileleftheros newspaper reported that, according to data from the Central Bank, 14.3 percent of workplaces operating more than 10 employees were subjected to cyber-attacks that negatively affected their activities.
Companies operating in financial markets in particular have been advised to take extra precautions against online attacks.
