Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced on Monday that 20,000 Mexicans have been deported from the United States since Donald Trump became president.
The deported individuals include both Mexican citizens and citizens of other countries.
Trump has vowed to end illegal border crossings and has promised to deport “millions” of illegal immigrants during his presidency.
According to Pew Research, there are approximately 11 million illegal immigrants from various countries living in the United States
